Apply liner to the root of lashes.

Use two concealers.

Your skin isn't necessarily the same exact tone in every spot. Mix concealers to get lighter or darker coverage.

Crank down the heat.
To aviod fried ends, adjust the temperature of your flat-iron. If you have fine to medium thick hair, stick with a 170- to 225- degree heat range.Thicker can go higher, but no more than once a week.
